The art centre library

The art centre library is open to everyone, whether holidaying in Flaine or resident here. Reading spaces are available and we have two computers with internet access.

The art centre library contains 2600 books, with more added to the collection every year.

  • Children: albums, early learning books, novels, comic books and documentaries etc.
  • Adults: novels, thrillers, comic books, documentaries (including many on the theme of modern and contemporary art), architecture and design. 

The Flaine Art Centre is a member of ‘Savoie Biblio’, which lends us books every year. 

  • Winter: individual or family subscriptions are available on a weekly or seasonal basis    
  • Summer: Free subscriptions

Opening hours: Mon., Wed., Thu. & Fri.: 3–7 pm, Tue.: 4–7 pm, Weekends: Closed (and by appointment during the off-season)
