Philippe Pastor is a French artist who works in Monaco and Spain. A committed environmentalist, he has developed a personalised vision of Nature through his work, translating the interactions between humankind and the planet
This work was commissioned by the Sibuet family who manage the Terminal Neige – Totem hotel. The trees, burnt deep black, rise up in symbiosis with Marcel Breuer’s chapel. In winter snow sticks to them, providing a particularly sharp colour contrast.
